27 AGO 2026 · The Ligers talk about the media response to the M9 crash, Ali G coming back in the year of our lord 2026 and then the main event, a discussion on the RTÉ documentary "The Healy-Raes: Blood, Sweat & Tears". A hagiography of the political dynasty which they're probably very happy with.
Then over on Patreon, Doss Summer concludes with a deep dive on arguably the rural Ireland version of Mrs Brown, comedy duo D'Unbelievables! Gar revisits childhood favourite D'Telly and suffers a crisis trying to find something to justify D'Unbelievables place in the Irish comedy canon. Will he do it? 21 AGO 2026 · The Ligers talk about Hearts of Darkness: A Filmmaker's Apocalypse the documentary about Apocalypse Now. Then they talk about the tragic death of academic Jason Arday and then round out the show talking about a particularly frightening episode of the Irish Times podcast where Hugh Linehan tries to crunch the numbers with some dorks and figure out why Ireland cares so much about Palestinian kids being blown to bits. Could it be anti-semitism?!
Then over on www.patreon.com/celticligers, DOSS SUMMER CONTINUES
The Ligers talk about Brendan O'Carroll's Dublin Matriarch Mrs. Brown, the character's humble origins and confusing mega success. They watch a bit of one of the VHSes(?), an episode of the TV show, D'Movie and her crossover appearance in Tyler Perry's A Madea Homecoming.

Then over on www.patreon.com/celticligers Doss Summer continues!
The Ligers have an embrassingly long discussion about Ricky Gervais' hit animated Netflix sitcom Alley Cats. A wretched show about cats who watch telly which made us rethink the concept of Doss Summer entirely.

30 LUG 2026 · The Ligers talk about Mayo's All Ireland Final win, real time beef with Bawston academic Larry Donnelly over the Occupied Territories, the many jobs of Sinead O'Sullivan including the defence think tank she does for fun, Eric Butts, a pocket review of The Royal Oak and then they try to start more beef with young independent sell out TD Barry Heneghan.
Then over on www.patreon.com/celticligers it's Doss Summer! The Ligers review horror spoof Scary Movie 6! The Wayans Brothers triumphant (?) return to the franchise they were booted off by disgraced sex predator movie producers The Weinstein Brothers. All your favourites are back (??) to skewer such films as "whatever happens to come to the mind of a stoned rich guy that day". Um... two questions... WHAT were they smoking and WHERE do we find the franchise over 20 years on as it struggles to figure out whether it does actually want to "cross every line"?
