10 MAG 2024 · We're recording this a little later than normal because, well, the sports book released their lines a little bit later than normal. Never the less, we're going to hunt some value and see if the books made any mistakes when putting out those lines and see if we can't provide you listeners with some games and match ups to target for this Friday, May 10th. 3 MAG 2024 · Apologies to those expecting a mid-week podcast this past Tuesday. Dave and his wife took a short vacation starting on Monday that actually brought them to Tennessee where Nick they all got to meet in person and take in a college baseball game together. 23 APR 2024 · This past weekend in college baseball a number of teams that had been cool for a while started to heat back up and demonstrated why betting on college baseball can be so volatile and frustrating for those betting on it. Wake Forest is a perfect example that after starting the season as the odds on favorite to win the College World Series, they end the month of March by getting swept at home no less, by North Carolina. Before that they lost two of three to both Duke and Louisville in March The calendar turns to April and the Demon Deacons have swept Virginia Tech, took two out of three at Boston College and this past weekend, took two of three from Florida State who is in the National Host conversation. Sweeps are nice but two out of three gets you to Omaha and Wake looks to have righted the ship for a stretch run. We bring this up because this spotlights the uniqueness of college baseball and as a sports bettor it’s key to understand that betting on college baseball is very different than betting on the MLB.
