The Anaheim Police Department is taking a different approach in a collaborative effort with City Net, a non-profit organization that works specifically to address homeless issues. They have formed the Community Care Response Team in a partnership with the city in an attempt to find more effective and lasting solutions to homeless needs in the community.

27 OTT 2021 · Over the course of a career first responders will deal with thousands of critical incidents. These can be difficult, challenging and at times emotionally draining. These can be everything from family fights to fatal traffic accidents to even murder. But there are those calls that just stand out and are forever lodged in your memories of the men and women who have to deal with them.
This is especially true when these calls involve innocent children who are the victims of violent crime.
On September 16, 2009, in the city of Westminster at about 6:30 in the morning Kristin Kannard was working a dispatcher and Cameron Knauerhaze was working patrol when a horrific call came in. A woman had just stabbed her two little girls.
What happened was a life changing even for both of them.
