30 LUG 2024 · What do accountants do? Accountants can operate in many different aspects of business. Most people only relate this type of flexibility with business administration. But accountants can also work in different business departments but with more of a focus on the central part of business. Accounting is the heart of business. In this episode I will explain what I do. Although I offer bookkeeping maintenance services and tax preparation (I do taxes) I can do so much more.

18 LUG 2024 · What is accountability? The process of being accountable. Did I just say a bad word? Well according to most people, they don’t need to answer to anyone. And no one will make them do anything. Is that what we believe accountability means? What if I say accountability is a personal goal? Accountability is the need to have things make sense, in a functional working way so I have the freedom to create, maintain and grow in a beneficial way that does not hurt me or others. What if I tell you accountability is my or an individual’s responsibility? Accountability is not someone else chasing you down to “make you” do something you do not want to do. Accountability is not someone holding you to a goal that you set to “help you.” Accountability does not come with a bully or a babysitter.

4 LUG 2024 · We will begin by explaining minimization. Minimization means that it was reduced to something tiny or insignificant. Minimization is different from organizing minimalist. I wanted you to first understand that I am not speaking about minimalism but minimizing. People use minimization to reduce something down to something less than basic. Did you know that simply derives from the word simpleton? A simpleton is not a good thing. How can we keep the full process and get into a profitable workflow? Let's talk about the business process of bookkeeping. A portion of accounting but a much need process.
27 GIU 2024 · Accounting is the heart of business. No doubt. With beneficial accounting practices how do you sustain and grow your business or businesses? Do you shy away from business ownership because someone said it was too hard to get paid consistently. Perhaps, I will be honest that at the start and certain periods receivables can be slow to nothing, but it does not have to stay that way.

Accountants and Financial Managers are often confused as many perform services that blur the lines and confuse people about accounting services. Financial Management is a different field and is also not the same as a business major. The training is different for all three, but some training is similar, leading people to believe they can work as accountants because most people believe accounting is only bookkeeping or tax preparation. Because people believe accounting is only bookkeeping, they underestimate what an accountant can provide therefore people hire a financial manager over an accountant. Listen for more...
