  • Zoom University

24 SET 2020 · Hey there! It's Jacqui, welcome to another episode of "And Then I Said". In this episode, one of my professors discusses the pros and cons of teaching via zoom during this pandemic. What I found interesting about this recorded interview was the fear of the unknown professor Pierson felt towards non participating students; the idea of not seeing your students physically as we were used to before this sudden shift can make anyone concerned. Thank you professor for making this podcast possible, your hard work to make class somewhat normal again is deeply appreciated by your students. Enjoy.

  • North Versus South During COVID-19

24 SET 2020 · In this episode, I talk about the how different parts of the U.S. react differently to the pandemic. I first play a clip (at 1:17) from Florida of a lawyer who dressed as the Grim Reaper to protest the beaches opening, Then, I conduct a phone interview with Chet Rengers at 2:11 until 8:43 about living in Atlanta and working a 9-5 job during the pandemic. Lastly, my goofy friend and I have a conversation about the pandemic and what it brought us. You can listen to that conversation from 9:12 till the end. Special Thanks To Sabrina Webb, Chet Rengers, and Nadia Durante

  • Nurses During the COVID-19 Pandemic

24 SET 2020 · Howdy! Welcome to the second episode of “And Then I Said” where I interview people of all backgrounds. In this episode, I had the pleasure to interview two nurses: Emily Amspacher and Maryann Sieber. I thought it was important to highlight nurses on this podcast during this crazy time. According to NPR, more people have passed from this disease than the Vietnam War (link down below). Thank you Emily and Maryann for providing your insight as a nurse, your work means so much to our community. Thanks for tuning in!!
