This is a national podcast, which is part of a broader, multi-media based initiative focused on using STEAM, service and civics to improve community health for all, starting with self-health first and foremost, so you can be a better #ForceforHealth for your family, friends and community.

The program will features prominent leaders who will also explore the concept of the social determinants of health, why they exist and what impacts they have on various health disparity rates across the US.

These leaders are challenging #AdvancetheDREAM TEAMS to do something about it by creating IDEAS, which are impact projects that will be scored and entered into some friendly competition for recognition and prizes.

IDEAS TEAMS will focus on identifying issues that matter to them most, then developing a plan, that they will execute in the community. Afterwards, they will assess the outcomes, then share their IDEAS in the National Competition.

Specifically, IDEAS TEAMS will focus on population health issues, and what they can do to remove barriers and improve minority health disparities rates across all areas. The program emphasizes how improving access to STEAM-based programs that are coupled with multi-generational mentorship, collaboration, and some friendly competition, can create service-lead initiatives that will lead to better health outcomes for all.
