16 OTT 2020 · Although there is an eviction moratorium in Seattle and King County, an Airforce veteran, and indigenous friend of mine, Phoenix Johnson and her 13 yr old daughter recently faced eviction. The notice came after several months of hostile and discriminatory behavior. We talk to Phoenix and local organizer and educator Cliff Cawthorn about Phoenix's situation and the general eviction crisis. We also remember Atatiana Jefferson, killed by Fort Worth Police on Oct 12, 2019.

22 MAR 2020 · In the third episode of About Us, we talk with my good friend Judith LeBlanc. Judith is the director of the Native Organizers Alliance. She provides and facilitates technical support, strategic planning, mentoring, and on the ground campaign development to Native groups. I met Judith in 2003 in the run-up to the U.S. invasion of Iraq when she organized with United For Peace and Justice.
