7 SET 2021 · On this episode, we talked with our close community partner, Chenel VandenBerk, a sexual assault nurse examiner here in Lake County. We work very closely with Chenel to support survivors throughout their medical exams, although this has been virtual lately due to the pandemic. Listen in as we talk about anatomy and frequently asked questions when it comes to sexual assault, answered by a nurse who works solely with survivors.

Nicole Farley, PFLAG Grayslake/Round Lake Chapter.
