Miani, Reka and Zoe cross to Texas, USA to speak with Art Matters guest Ahmed Badr. 17-year-old Ahmed was born in Baghdad, Iraq and when he was 8 years-old, his home in Baghdad was bombed by militia troops and he and his family relocated to Syria as refugees for two and a half years before receiving approval to move to the United States. Ahmed then moved to a small town called Sioux Falls in South Dakota. His last stop so far is Houston, Texas. It was there that he fell in love with the art of writing. Ahmed is a poet, published writer and photographer. He is also the Executive Director and co-founder of Narratio.org and founder of Mesopotami.com.
