Price Atkinson and Steve Carney are back for Week 1 of the college football season talking all things service academy football.

The guys start with a recap of Navy's season-opening loss in Ireland to Notre Dame, as the Fighting Irish proved why they are being considered as one of the top programs in college football this season. They also hand out their first game balls of the 2023 season, though they ended up going against the Midshipmen.

Price and Steve then get into the opening games for both Army and Air Force, who begin their respective years this weekend. Both teams are heavy favorites going into their games with Louisiana-Monroe and Robert Morris, respectively, but have a number of question marks to address early in the season. They talk about the Drew Thatcher’s thumbprint on the Black Knights’ offense after leaving Nebraska-Kearney as well as who could be in line to take the place at Air Force of the country’s top rusher last year in Brad Roberts as well as the quarterback spot of Haaziq Daniels.

The guys also honor the latest member of the Travis Manion Foundation Honor Roll, give you their first impression of Air Force’s new World War II-inspired uniforms they’ll wear for their matchup against Navy on October 21, take a look at the service academy players on the early watchlist for postseason trophies and awards, and pick their winners for both games this week.
