Sean is the founder of the AnimalSign Center in Monterey, California where she researches and teaches animals to communicate with her revolutionary approach called AnimalSign. She gives workshops, seminars (live and online), and speaks at many events on Expanding Communication with Pets. She is cognitive physiologist and ethologist, and teaches people, dogs, horses, and cats how to expand their language skills. A college instructor, she teaches Human and Canine Biology and Behavior, the Emotional and Communicative Lives of Dogs at California State University, Monterey Bay, and online at e-trainingfordogs.com. She has lectured at UC Davis, CSUMB, Hartnell College, and the Assistance Dog Institute. Educated at UC Berkeley, San Francisco State University, and UC Davis, she is a member of AAAS, the American Behavior Society & Association of Pet Dog Trainers.
