Jayne Marlowe was born and raised a Southern girl and loves to read. She's a latchkey kid born in the 1970s and began writing at a young age because she wanted to read stories where a curvy, Black girl like her was the lead and not simply the ethnic comic sidekick. Her aim is to write engrossing stories featuring strong, complex women."
