Guhai Namashivayar was a great enlightened being in Tiruvannamalai (birth town of The Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism - SPH), who composed the glory of the sacred embodiment of Paramashiva in Hill-form, Arunachala, in a 1000-verse poem called "Arunagiri Anthaadi". He was known for having experienced enlightenment in a "Guhai", or a cave, of the sacred Hill. Like this there are hundreds of enlightened beings who have achieved Oneness with Paramashiva in the Divine nooks of the great Arunachala Hill.


In this audio memoir by the biological mother of the Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism, she recalls how her father, Raju Mudaliar, and other family members would regularly visit the Guhai Namashivayar temple and trek to the elevated temple even though they were aged.
