People will show you who they are. It's up to you to believe them, the first time. If you have to ask the question, more than likely you know something is wrong. Do your research on NPD and look out for pattern, idealizing, love bombing, devalue, discard and possibly hoovered back in, to start the cycle of domestic abuse all over again.
