A man in Lancaster, PA, was fatally shot by police after attacking with a knife. Of course, the obligatory riots followed. It begs the question, what are the police supposed to do when being attacked by someone wielding a knife? Sometimes an officer involved shooting self defense in the course of preventing a crime.
