The 2010s…what a decade, right? There were good times, probably, and bad times too, and pop culture was there to get us through it all. The Pop Culture Junkie Podcast is looking back at the halcyon days between 2010 and 2019 with a five-part series we’re calling We Love the 2010s. This week, Alex, Hayley, Nicole and Shauna take a look at the years 2010 and 2011.

2010 was the year of Inception, iPads and Instagram, Bieber, bromance and Bitcoin, cougars, mansplaining, The Walking Dead, Silly Bandz and so much more. And 2011 brought us planking, Funko Pops and #YOLO, Bronies, ghosting and Game of Thrones, and “winning” at life with Tiger’s Blood. We will feature the Marvel Minute and the Year of Our Lady Gaga for each year of the decade, too. Join us for a look back at everything that made life worth living (or at least, worth talking about) in the 2010s.
