Dr. Jonathan Oloyede discusses his conversion from Islam to Christianity, the power of prayer, and how a spiritual revival and a fresh wave of grace will sweep across the UK. He has filled stadiums with hundreds of thousands people, gathered many from other countries for a National Day of Prayer in the UK but that was just the beginning. It was his digital footprint that solidified his prayer led movement that swept across Britain.

Born in Britain and raised in Nigeria, Dr. Oloyede is a medical doctor by profession but has served full time in pastoral Ministry as an apostolic missionary to the United Kingdom and Europe for over 28 years.

Affectionately known as “Dr. J” he is the leader of City Chapel and the Convener of the National Day of Prayer UK which organized hundreds of thousands to pray across multiple locations and stadiums in Britain. In 2021, he also helped to lead and organize an online gathering called "Virtual Pentecost" which saw over 47,000 people attend online.

Dr. J is blissfully married to his beautiful wife Abbiih and they live in Kent with their two Children. Dr. Oloyede’s overriding passion is to raise a global network of One Million Disciples of Christ across the continents and nations. He is the author of “Vision of Lights” a book which captures a prophetic hope of revival for the UK.
