Jim Scopes, foresight consultant, has done a lot of strategic work using scenarios, three horizons, in-casting, wind tunnelling and a non-foresight tool called the River of Life, which is often used in development banks and agencies. This is a quick tour of his approaches with emphasis on his strategy roles in public sector organisations and how he first used a suite of foresight tools in developing strategy with HM Revenue and Customs.
