I mean really actually argued for it and even try to pick apart your own preferred argument. What would happen? You might lose your fear of opposing ideas and you might gain a greater degree of compassion for others. But better yet, you may find that the belief and argument you originally rejected is in fact superior to yours. Steelman the opposition and see what may come of it.
