Raising kids, schooling my kids means I have to get to know their personalities, learning styles, strengths/weaknesses... Encouraging their strengths/gifts and by the grace of God, growing then in their independence from me but dependence on Christ through their struggles and in their weaknesses.

Right. One pastor can't be expected to disciple 100s of people. Smaller groups, really learning about and praying for and with each other, becoming equipped to go disciple others... Becoming accountable to walking out our call in faith in this world.
