Cs: Vít a Lada vstoupili do staré skladiště v pražské Troji.
En: Vít and Lada entered the old warehouse in Prague's Troja.

Cs: Byl podzim, venku bylo chladno, a paprsky slunce pronikaly skrze rozbitá okna.
En: It was autumn, cold outside, and sun rays penetrated through the broken windows.

Cs: Stíny se dloužily přes zaprášené bedny a zapomenuté nástroje.
En: Shadows stretched across dusty crates and forgotten tools.

Cs: Skladiště mělo kdysi život, teď bylo opuštěné, čekající na svou demolici.

En: It was the feast of Saint Martin.

Cs: Na ulicích voněla pečená husa a lidé se radovali.
En: The streets smelled of roasted goose, and people were celebrating.

Cs: Ale Vít nemyslel na oslavy.
En: But Vít wasn't thinking about the celebrations.

Cs: Myslel na artefakty, které by mohly být skryty pod nánosem prachu.
En: He was thinking about artifacts that could be hidden under the layers of dust.

Cs: „Podívej, tady,“ vykřikl Vít najednou a ukázal na starou truhlu.
En: "Look, here," Vít suddenly shouted and pointed to an old chest.

Cs: „Tohle musí být důležité.
En: "This must be important."

Cs: “Lada se dívala s obavami.
En: Lada looked worriedly.

Cs: „Buď opatrný, podlaha tu vypadá slabě.
En: "Be careful, the floor looks weak here."

Cs: “Vít však nedbal.
En: However, Vít didn't heed the warning.

Cs: Otevřel truhlu a uviděl staré dokumenty, mapy a možná i deníky dávných obchodníků.
En: He opened the chest and saw old documents, maps, and possibly diaries of ancient traders.

Cs: Oči mu zazářily, jakoby je měl plné hvězd.
En: His eyes sparkled as if they were full of stars.

Cs: Ale najednou podlaha začala praskat.
En: But suddenly, the floor began to crack.

Cs: Vít zůstal nehybný.
En: Vít stood still.

Cs: Podlaha pod ním začínala dávat najevo svou nespolehlivost.
En: The floor beneath him began to show its unreliability.

Cs: „Víte, pozor!
En: "Vít, watch out!"

Cs: “ zakřičela Lada a vrhla se k němu.
En: Lada screamed and rushed to him.

Cs: Společně, s dokumenty v rukou, se vrhli k bezpečnější části skladiště.
En: Together, with the documents in hand, they rushed to a safer part of the warehouse.

Cs: Jen tak tak unikli, když se část podlahy propadla.
En: They barely escaped as a part of the floor collapsed.

Cs: Seděli venku, otřesení, ale v bezpečí.
En: They sat outside, shaken but safe.

Cs: Dokumenty byly v jejich rukou.
En: The documents were in their hands.

Cs: Celou situaci pociťovali jako varování.
En: They felt the whole situation as a warning.

Cs: Vít se podíval na Ladu a usmál se.
En: Vít looked at Lada and smiled.

Cs: „Měl jsem tě poslouchat.
En: "I should have listened to you.

Cs: Díky za pomoc.

Cs: “Lada se usmála nazpět.
En: Lada smiled back.

Cs: „Jsme tým, Víte.

Cs: A tohle, co jsme našli, je důležité.

Cs: Musíme se o to postarat společně.

Cs: “Od toho dne si Vít uvědomil, že týmová práce je důležitější než osobní sláva.
