Sk: Útesy letného slnka rozplývali sa na starodávnych kamenných uličkách horskej dedinky.
En: The rays of the summer sun melted over the ancient stone alleyways of the mountain village.

Sk: V tejto dedine s názvom Radost, každý vedel o referende, ktoré malo vziať miesto dnes.
En: In this village, named Radost, everyone knew about the referendum that was to take place today.

Sk: Ladislav, muž v stredných rokoch s veľkou vášňou pre občianske povinnosti, vstal skoro ráno.
En: Ladislav, a middle-aged man with a great passion for civic duties, woke up early in the morning.

Sk: Chodí tichú dedinou s cieľom.
En: He walked through the quiet village with a purpose.

Sk: Chcel zabezpečiť, aby jeho komunita hlasovala za referendum, ktoré by zachovalo miestne tradície.
En: He wanted to ensure that his community voted in the referendum that would preserve local traditions.

Sk: Medzi tými, ktorí sa tiež chystali hlasovať, bola Milena, mladá študentka na univerzite v zahraničí.

Sk: „Musíme nájsť pomoc,“ povedal Ladislav s rozhodným tónom.
En: "We need to find help," said Ladislav with a determined tone.
