Yesterday, I did my typical afternoon writing. I call it defragging... I asked myself if there's ever been a time when being too transparent is an unsafe walk? It put me in a situation of wonder. What's worse? Someone being truthful or the flow of constant lies? Talk about being on the corner of walk and don't walk. Only to take note of how many books have been written about how leaders lie. Lisa See once wrote,"Model communes are the ones where leaders lie the best and biggest." How do you prepare your heart for that? Who do you learn to trust? It can no longer be based on the child inside reaching out to see if the stove is hot. You've already been burned. How then do we walk up to the very place where there was pain and cook lunch or dinner?
