Welcome back to the People’s Guild. For Episode 146, we welcome back @davemccoy as we dig into both the present and the future of Splinterlands — from the competitive edge of Frontier format and the proposed & evolving structure of Survival Mode and bracket play, to the broader questions of marketing, player acquisition, and sustainability.

Along the way, we explore the role of the DAO, including the potential of the CGRF (Crypto Gaming Recovery Fund) that could help stabilize and strengthen the ecosystem for years to come.
This conversation ranges wide but always circles back to the core question: how do we grow the game, the community, and the economy in ways that are lasting and player-first?

Due to some unexpected technical difficulties, we won’t be able to provide our usual section-by-section episode summary this week. Instead, we invite you to jump right in and join us for the full ride. Episode 146 is packed with insights, debates, and forward-looking ideas — a perfect snapshot of where Splinterlands stands today, and where it might be headed tomorrow.

Enjoy the show!
