We close out Blaxploitation April with a film that takes everything that came before, throws it in a blender, and pours out Three the Hard Way. Jim Brown, Fred Williamson, and Jim Kelly team up to thwart a white supremacist plot to wipe out the Black populations of three major US cities by poisoning their water supplies. It's a mix of kung fu, action, and humor, with three of the most charismatic leads in blaxploitation history. We dig into the charismatic trio, blaxploitation's Mount Rushmore, and why there are so few contemporary blaxploitation films.
The Projection Booth's Mike White and MondoHeather's Heather Drain join Chris Stachiw, the Doctor of Podcasting, to talk Three the Hard Way, Jim Brown, Fred Williamson, Jim Kelly, and so much more.
