Welcome to the wide world of racing! From NASCAR to Formula 1 to Drag Racing to Indy, the racing world is in full swing everywhere.We will be discussing the different kinds of racing, why NASCAR teams are mainly located in North Carolina, and the impact of the west coast's first Daytona 500 winner.
Why are most of the NASCAR teams located in North Carolina? Well, there is a long history of the motorsports industry in this state. There are plenty of opportunities for you to get involved, even if you can't be a driver. We also wanted to take this time to thank our service men and women who have given so much for our country. We share a heart-warming story about a serviceman's memory of the 1990 Daytona 500.
