To understand what a microstock producer has to do to create a great collection, he first needs to ask himself these questions:
Why am I creating stock images and stock footage?
Am I trying to find a way to pay for my trips?
Am I trying to enjoy myself, because I do not want to make money?
Do I just like to know that there are some websites and TV series that pay for what I've created?
The right answer to these questions is the starting point of every great producer’s career.
For example: with stock footage, you can make ten times more money than with stock images, but you need a tripod to produce. Is it worth going around cities with a tripod to earn more money? It depends on what each producer wants from his job.
