Chris Baran is an alumni member in the hair game for 54 years; an educator for over 40 years and Redken's Global Artistic Director for the last 20+ years.

15 years ago Chris and his son Lee started Fuel Education Systems - a turn key training system for salons and hairdressers in the Principles of Design and Finishing, a system of understanding haircutting rather than knowing haircuts.

In 2012 Chris was the invited to join the Salon Professional Education Systems (SPEC) , a franchise group with 30+ schools in USA and Canada an owner and Artistic Director.

In 2017 Chris and his team branched their education network into Global Peak-performance Systems (GPS) and Chris Camp to mentor educators in the hair industry to excel in the adult education game.

After years of salons reaching out to him want an in-house training system, Chris developed The Salon Associate Training Program which launched in this January in its Beta stage.

As a NAHA winner and mentor to NAHA winners, Chris is a hairdresser, first and foremost and damn proud of it.
