De: In Berlin, mitten im Herzen der Stadt, lebten Anna und Max.
En: In Berlin, in the heart of the city, lived Anna and Max.

De: Sie waren Geschwister.
En: They were siblings.

De: Sie mochten es nicht, dass sie sich immer stritten.
En: They did not like that they always argued with each other.

De: Aber sie wussten nicht, wie sie damit aufhören sollten.
En: But they didn't know how to stop it.

De: Eines Tages sagte ihre Mutter, "Wir laden alle zur einem Familientreffen ein.
En: One day, their mother said, "We are inviting everyone to a family gathering.

De: Am Sonntag kommen sie alle hier nach Hause.
En: They will all come here on Sunday."

De: " Anna freute sich.
En: Anna was excited.

De: Max jedoch war besorgt.
