This DeepCold true crime episode reconstructs the last morning on Sixty-Seventh Street, the taxi ride toward Liberty Avenue and the Bruins Transportation connection, the diary entry about an older confidante, the stepfather's dismissed report to the NYPD, the runaway label that stuck for years, the eleven-year wait for a NamUs entry, the racial misclassification in the national database, the Guardian investigation of November 2025, the wider crisis of missing and murdered Indigenous people, and the theories that remain after twenty-seven years. If you know anything about what happened to Leanne, the NYPD Missing Persons Squad can be reached at 212-473-2042.
