My guest for today is Jamie Fleming. She helps fellow trauma survivors discover more hope and healing in their lives by sharing my own real life story of healing and the healing word art she paint s at AfterTraumaArt.com.
She was sexually abused several times from the age of 4 by two uncles. For the next 30 years of life Jamie lived and perceived life through a trauma filter of fear every moment of every single day. When no amount of prayer, pills, church attendance, counseling, or wishful thinking worked, she was offered a unique opportunity to try psychedelic-assisted therapy in a medically monitored setting (she was treated with Ibogaine & 5-MeO DMT). It's now been 3 years since the treatment and her trauma has never returned!
