:On February 13, 2017, two teenage girls, Liberty "Libby" German, 14, and Abigail "Abby" Williams, 13, went for a hike along the Delphi Historic Trails, a popular walking trail in the small town of Delphi. The girls were dropped off by a family member with plans to meet up later that day. However, they never returned, and their families reported them missing.
The following day, on February 14, their bodies were discovered in a wooded area near the Monon High Bridge, about half a mile from where they were last seen. The case quickly became a homicide investigation, and authorities released a photograph and an audio recording found on Libby's cell phone, taken by the girls shortly before their disappearance. The photo showed a man walking on the trail, and the audio included a male voice saying, "Down the hill."
Despite extensive efforts by local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies, as well as numerous tips from the public and a significant reward for information, the identity of the suspect in the photograph and audio recording remained elusive.
Until 2022 when Richard Allen, a local man was arrested and charged with the murders. Now, Richard Allen is saying that he is innocent and that a group of 'Odinites' are the ones responsible for the deaths of Libby and Abby.
