In episode 10 of telling their stories, head coach Michael Faulds at Wilfrid Laurier University in Ontario shares with us the path his playing career took and how it led him to where he is now coaching.

At the age of 29 years old, Coach Faulds has had success not just as a player but as a head coach. He took a 1-7 team in 2013 to two straight Yates Cups appearances in 2016 and 2017, winning the cup in 2016. That year, he was awarded the OUA and U Sports 'Coach of the Year'.

Aside from his football chops, Faulds has a heart for his players and young recruits. Mental health is an issue that he wants to a part of the solution to helping increase the resources and access to players, not just in his program, but across Canada. He shares some great insight that is useful for all coaches at all levels.
