Tom Holland, host of The Rest is History, and Jon Surtees from Surrey CCC discuss their choice of the finest spell of bowling ever delivered at The Oval - joined by the extraordinarily special guest, Michael Holding.
After discussing some of the candidates (and there are some good ones!) Tom and Jon chat with Michael about his memories of The Oval and particularly the iconic 1976 Test Match.
A moment in cricketing and London time, as well as an amazing Test, listen to one of the most respected men in world cricket discuss his finest hour.
Future instalments will be released every Wednesday, with episode 11 – the final episode - coming on Wednesday August 7th – featuring Tom and Jon reflecting on the previous ten episodes and looking ahead to what the future holds for The Oval, in the context of what has gone before.
