This week we will interview Mike Butler and Carol Engle-Enright on their Urantia Book inspired school of Statesmanship, Stewardhip and Service (SOSSAS). Classes at SOSSAS began in October of 2023 at St. Vrain Innovation Center in Longmont, Colorado, with metacognitive skills, great communication, and civil discourse. Their team of qualified and talented educators are excited to present the next level, Identifying Strengths, which will offer great knowledge, great people, and great discussions leading to the next level of leadership! Carol Engel-Enright, Ph.D. - President, Co-Founder, & Instructor - Trained as a fashion designer, Carol Engel-Enright has spent her life working in ‘design thinking’ and improving the lives of others. Her teaching career at Colorado State University, with graduate degrees in Design & Merchandising and Education & Human Resources, was enriched by working with students to professionally prepare them for internships and careers. Her skill in curriculum development and vision for the expansion of good in the world drives her current work as Co-Founder of SOSSAS. Mike Butler - Vice President, Co-Founder, & Instructor - During his 41-year career in law enforcement, Mike Butler pioneered and proved that the principles of statesmanship, stewardship, and service are achievable and transformative even in the most established of institutions. Through incremental cultural changes, Mike saw restorative justice re-shape the internal workings of the police and fire departments, as well as the city of Longmont. His counter-cultural approach to leadership and service has made him a sought after speaker, thought leader, and writer. (Our previous interview with Mike was on Restorative Justice.) Mike and Carol hope to make this world a better place by creating evolved civility. Don't miss timely discussion!
