Overview: Brian spends the hour with special guest, AMELIA MEYERS, who is an actress, singer/songwriter, wife, mother, voice teacher & arts therapist, and the current Mrs. East Coast Petite USA 2024. Amelia was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease when she was 17 years old. After years of trial and error with different medications she nearly lost her life to the disease in 2012. That is when she decided to help as many people with Crohn's Disease as possible. Through the vehicle of being Mrs. Maryland Petite USA 2023, Amelia launched Kickin' Crohn's - a weekly online support group for people who are affected by Crohn's Disease where they come to a safe, non judgmental place and receive the support and community they deserve.
