In light of current events in our country we as Christians are asked to show mercy. However there has been no mercy given. I do believe that judgement is beginning at the house of God. God is judging the theology behind the rhetoric of this season from the election of President Trump to the events that lead to the insurrection on January 6th. We are asked to take a higher road. We are asked to pray. We are asked to be people of reconciliation. However where is the responsibility and the accountability from those who preached the theology and prophesied falsely concerning President Trump that lead up to the insurrection?
Are we to show mercy at the expense of trust? Are we to show mercy at the expense of conscience?
