We discuss the neurophysiology of grief and the effects of sex and intimacy upon those neurophysiological changes. Topics addressed include how to assess your true needs and the meaning behind those needs, how to best communicate those needs, and how to negotiate differing needs. We also discuss differing grieving styles after the death of a child as well as the unique process of sexual bereavement and skin thirst after losing a long-time partner.
