A quote I heard from a sermon series on abuse: "it is never loving to help an abuser escape the consequences of their actions." If you love the abuser, you report them and have them experience the natural consequences of their abuse.

Just tuned in a couple of minutes ago. I think this part is helping me process how to think about the MacArthur stuff. I've loved his stuff for ages and have a MacArthur study Bible so finding out that he's shown a serious lack of integrity with sexual assault issues has been hard.
