Salmos 11:1‭-‬7 RVA2015:
En el SEÑOR me he refugiado. ¿Por qué, pues, dicen a mi alma: “Escapa cual pájaro al monte”? Pues he aquí, los impíos han preparado su arco, y han colocado las flechas en la cuerda para atravesar en oculto a los rectos de corazón. Si son destruidos los fundamentos, ¿qué podrá hacer el justo?
El SEÑOR está en su santo templo; el SEÑOR tiene su trono en los cielos. Sus ojos ven; sus párpados examinan a los hijos del hombre. El SEÑOR prueba al justo, pero su alma aborrece al impío y al que ama la violencia. Sobre los impíos hará llover brasas; fuego, azufre y vientos huracanados serán la porción de la copa de ellos. Porque el SEÑOR es justo y ama la justicia; los rectos contemplarán su rostro.


Este es un salmo con un tono diferente al de ayer. Ya no es una oración de desesperación, sino más bien uno donde el salmista declara su firmeza y confianza en el Señor, especialmente porque se encontraba en un momento de prueba.
Al parecer, el salmista estaba en una posición donde le estaban aconsejando a huir de su situación, pero él estaba confiado, pues tenía convicciones firmes en Dios y no iba a permitir que nadie socavara sus principios morales y espirituales.
Es por eso que él nos está contando cómo los que lo rodeaban lo estaban empujando a huir pero él declaró que, mientras los fundamentos estén firmes, el justo puede tener esperanza de vida y salvación.
Este verso es importante cuando él se refiere a los fundamentos. Los fundamentos son los principios y valores, son las reglas en que una persona vive una vida en integridad, con convicciones basadas en los mandamientos de Dios. Es la convicción de que Dios bendice al que hace bien a su prójimo, pero castiga al que actúa injustamente en la comunidad donde vive.
Durante toda la historia del ser humano hasta el día de hoy existen movimientos de pensamientos e ideologías humanas que se oponen a seguir cualquier clase de principios y bases morales.
La anarquía, que es un movimiento que no respeta ninguna forma de gobierno ni autoridad; el libertinaje que los maestros de escuela quieren inculcar a los alumnos a que vivan una vida promiscua; el feminismo radical que menosprecia el núcleo familiar tradicional; el machismo opresor que no deja que las mujeres se desarrollen conforme al don que Dios les ha dado; los movimientos sociales que desprecian a los que practican principios cristianos bíblicos son ejemplos claros de la lucha entre el bien y el mal, entre el orden y el caos, entre los fundamentos y la remoción de ellos en nuestra sociedad.
Ellos usan pretextos como, por ejemplo, el querer traer más libertad a la sociedad, diciendo que aquellos que practican cierta clase de convicciones espirituales o religiosas son simplemente fanáticos que no quieren que la persona sea libre. Lo que no se dan cuenta es que por milenios las sociedades que mantienen códigos de conducta basadas en el temor a Dios son sociedades que perduran porque hay un modelo claro de conducta, y se establecen leyes para la protección y seguridad de todos los miembros de la sociedad, especialmente a los más vulnerables a abusos como las mujeres, niños y ancianos.
Hoy en día se quiere minimizar la responsabilidad del varón como un ser que debe ser vigilante, un constante modelo de protección y defensa.
Se quiere minimizar el hermoso rol de la mujer como madre y mujer sabia que con su ternura y sagacidad construye familias fuertes y ciudadanos de bien para la próxima generación por medio de sus hijos, y que con sus manos también construyen bienestar para su familia como columnas de su casa.
Se quiere aislar al anciano que con su sabiduría, palabras de aliento, consejo y corrección dirigen a sus hijos y a sus nietos en la continuación de la construcción de las bases fundamentales que sostienen la sociedad en su núcleo familiar y en la comunidad.

Te animo para que no permitas que estas clases de corrientes de filosofías huecas y humanas trastornen las mentes de nuestros hijos que están más vulnerables, y que con sabiduría y amor continues el legado de los fundamentos morales y principios basados en la eterna Palabra de Dios. Es necesario que le ganemos esta guerra a Satanás que con su espíritu maligno es una influencia oscura en algunos de los líderes y representantes de la sociedad.
Tenemos que ser mansos como palomas pero astutos como serpientes para utilizar la sagacidad y la sabiduría que Dios nos da para mantener los fundamentos firmes; pues si los fundamentos son destruidos, entonces ya no habrá esperanza para el justo, para el hombre y la mujer de bien.

Considera:
¿Estás consciente de los movimientos filosóficos qué se están levantando en contra de los principios bíblicos?
¿Qué estás haciendo para que los principios y fundamentos de tu hogar no sean conmovidos?
¿Estás en constante comunicación y diálogo con tus hijos y tu pareja?

September 26: Foundations under attack

Psalms 11:1-7:
In the Lord I put my trust; how can you say to my soul, “Flee as a bird to your mountain”? For look! The wicked bend their bow, they make ready their arrow on the string, that they may shoot secretly at the upright in heart. If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?
The Lord is in His holy temple, the Lord’s throne is in heaven; His eyes behold, His eyelids test the sons of men. The Lord tests the righteous, but the wicked and the one who loves violence His soul hates. Upon the wicked He will rain coals; fire and brimstone and a burning wind shall be the portion of their cup. For the Lord is righteous, He loves righteousness; His countenance beholds the upright.


This is a psalm with a different tone than yesterday. It is no longer a prayer of despair, but rather one where the psalmist declares his steadfastness and trust in the Lord, especially since he was in a time of trial.
Apparently, the psalmist was in a position where he was being advised to flee from his situation, but he was confident, because he had firm convictions in God and was not going to allow anyone to undermine his moral and spiritual principles.
That is why he is telling us how those around him were pushing him to flee but he declared that, as long as the foundations are firm, the righteous can have hope of life and salvation.
This verse is important when he refers to the foundations. The foundations are the principles and values, they are the rules in which a person lives a life in integrity, with convictions based on the commandments of God. It is the conviction that God blesses those who do good to their neighbors, but punish those who act unjustly in the community where they live.
Throughout the history of the human being until today there are movements of human thoughts and ideologies that are opposed to following any kind of moral principles and bases.
Anarchy, which is a movement that does not respect any form of government or authority; the debauchery that school teachers want to instill in students to live promiscuous lives; radical feminism that belittles the traditional family nucleus; the oppressive machismo that does not allow women to develop according to the gift that God has given them; the social movements that despise those who practice biblical Christian principles are clear examples of the struggle between good and evil, between order and chaos, between the foundations and the removal of them in our society.
They use pretexts such as, for example, wanting to bring more freedom to society, saying that those who practice certain kinds of spiritual or religious convictions are simply fanatics who don't want the person to be free. What they don't realize is that for millennia the societies that maintain codes of conduct based on the fear of God are societies that last because there is a clear model of conduct, and laws are established for the protection and safety of all members of the society, especially those most vulnerable to abuse such as women, children and the elderly.
Nowadays they want to minimize the responsibility of the man as a being who must be vigilant, a constant model of protection and defense.
They want to minimize the beautiful role of the woman as mother and wise woman who with their tenderness and sagacity build strong families and good citizens for the next generation through their children, and who with their hands also build well-being for their family like columns of their home.
They want to isolate the elderly who with their wisdom, words of encouragement, advice and correction direct their children and grandchildren in the continuation of the construction of the fundamental bases that sustain society in their family nucleus and in the community.

I encourage you not to allow these kinds of streams of hollow and human philosophies to upset the minds of our most vulnerable children, and to continue with wisdom and love the legacy of moral foundations and principles based on the eternal Word of God. It is necessary that we win this war against Satan who with his evil spirit is a dark influence on some of the leaders and representatives of society.
We have to be meek as doves but cunning as snakes to use the sagacity and wisdom that God gives us to keep the foundations firm; because if the foundations are destroyed, then there will no longer be hope for the just, for the good man and woman.

Consider this:
Are you aware of the philosophical movements that are rising up against biblical principles?
What are you doing so that the principles and foundations of your home are not shaken?
Are you in constant communication and dialogue with your children and your partner?
