Septiembre 18: El salmo de la revancha.

Salmos 3:1‭-‬8 RVA2015:
¡Oh SEÑOR, cuánto se han multiplicado mis enemigos! Muchos son los que se levantan contra mí. Muchos dicen acerca de mí: “¡Dios no lo librará!”. Selah
Pero tú, oh SEÑOR, eres escudo alrededor de mí; eres mi gloria y el que levanta mi cabeza. Con mi voz clamé al SEÑOR, y él me respondió desde su santo monte. Selah
Yo me acosté y dormí. Desperté, porque el SEÑOR me sostuvo. No temeré a las decenas de millares del pueblo que han puesto sitio contra mí.
¡Levántate, oh SEÑOR! ¡Sálvame, Dios mío! Porque a todos mis enemigos has golpeado en la mejilla, y has quebrantado los dientes de los impíos. Del SEÑOR viene la salvación. ¡Sobre tu pueblo sea tu bendición! Selah.


Estamos viviendo en un mundo de envidia, celos y malas intenciones. Hay muchas personas que han sufrido la traición de algún socio o amigo, y están sufriendo el fracaso causado por la mala intención de alguien o por los propios errores. Esta es una experiencia muy difícil de sobrellevar, cuando te llega la mala noticia de haber perdido todo por un mal cálculo o por haber abierto el corazón a alguien que jugó con tus sentimientos.
Cuando llega esos golpes que te noquean y te tiran a la lona como a un boxeador, te empujan a un gran abismo de oscuridad donde abundan las nubes negras de pesimismo y las voces continuamente suenan dentro de tu cabeza diciéndote que eres un fracasado, que no sirves para nada, o que ya nadie confiaría en ti y que Dios se ha alejado de ti por culpa de tus errores. Tu autoestima está por el suelo, y ya no crees en tus capacidades ni tus talentos. Ya la inspiración no llega a tu mente, no quieres levantarte a trabajar, no sientes servir más a Dios y el temor te acompaña continuamente.
¿Te has sentido así? ¡Te tengo buenas noticias: No todo está terminado!
El escritor de este salmo sabía que el Señor es el Dios que levanta nuestra cabeza para no andar más cabizbajo como un símbolo de derrota. Él sabía que el Señor es el que nos da las fuerzas para levantarnos otra vez, para comenzar de nuevo, para enfrentar al enemigo, y esta vez, vencer sus trampas. Es el Dios de nuevas oportunidades, donde aquel que está en Cristo nueva criatura es, las cosas viejas pasaron y todas son hechas nuevas.
Recupera tu paz y duerme sin permitir que la ansiedad te quite el sueño. No permitas que la inseguridad afecte tu vida, más bien declara como dijo el salmista: “No temeré a diez millares que se levanten contra mí”. ¡Levántate! Es el tiempo de tu revancha.

Considera:
¿Vives cabizbajo y temeroso del adversario?
¿Vives con una actitud de víctima o tienes la actitud de un guerrero?

September 18: The psalm of the rematch.

Psalms 3:1-8:
Lord, how they have increased who trouble me! Many are they who rise up against me. Many are they who say of me, “There is no help for him in God.” Selah
But You, O Lord, are a shield for me, my glory and the One who lifts up my head. I cried to the Lord with my voice, and He heard me from His holy hill. Selah
I lay down and slept; I awoke, for the Lord sustained me. I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people who have set themselves against me all around.
Arise, O Lord; save me, O my God! For You have struck all my enemies on the cheekbone; You have broken the teeth of the ungodly. Salvation belongs to the Lord. Your blessing is upon Your people. Selah.


We are living in a world of envy, jealousy and bad intentions. There are many people who have suffered the betrayal of a partner or friend, and are suffering failure caused by someone's bad intention or by their own mistakes. This is a very difficult experience to cope with, when the bad news reaches you that you have lost everything due to a wrong calculation or because you have opened your heart to someone who played with your feelings.
When those punches come that knock you out and throw you to the canvas like to a boxer, they push you into a great abyss of darkness where the black clouds of pessimism abound and the voices continually sound inside your head telling you that you are a failure, that you are useless, or that no one would trust you anymore and that God has moved away from you because of your mistakes. Your self-esteem is on the ground, and you no longer believe in your abilities or talents. Inspiration no longer reaches your mind, you don't want to get up to work, you don't feel like serving God anymore and fear is always with you.
Have you ever felt like this? I have good news for you: Not everything is finished!
The writer of this psalm knew that the Lord is the God who raises our heads so that we no longer walk downcast as a symbol of defeat. He knew that the Lord is the One who gives us the strength to get up again, to start over, to face the enemy, and this time, to overcome their traps. He is the God of new opportunities, where the one who is in Christ is a new creature, old things have passed away and all are made new.
Regain your peace and sleep without letting anxiety take your sleep away. Don't allow insecurity to affect your life, rather declare as the psalmist said: I will not fear ten thousand who will rise up against me. Get up! It is the time of your rematch..

Consider this:
Do you live crestfallen and fearful of the adversary?
Do you live with the attitude of a victim or do you have the attitude of a warrior?
