Justen, I often agree with your points. But this one I had trouble with when you said you didn't think Halloween is a clear subject in scripture to divide over. I differ in that I think scripture is quite clear on matters of joining worldly traditions especially if God warns against them as the ways of the pagans and rituals unto other gods. Halloween is done exactly like the culture of Druids except the human sacrifice. But all other elements are in the likeness of the origin meaning, and full of horror, fright, and darkness. And we are told to separate. As well as to avoid the appearance of evil. We are told in Deut 18 to avoid the practices of witchcraft. I would say this is more than a fun holiday for children. It is an opposition to God. We are not dividing by warning brothers and sisters of evil or unwittingly participating in the world's activities that are overtly occult. Thanks for your hard work.
