It's been a rough two weeks, but we're BACK and bringing re-enforcements!
While the media coverage of worldwide protests has taken dip, we haven't stopped noticing and the widespread demand for justice for BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color). In this long-awaited episode of "Adult-ish," host Afiya and co-host Vincent Bernard are joined by the ever-shady, but always accurate, Gary.
The Detroit native joins the duo for a chat on the recent spread of acceptance and accountability shared by major corporations the world over and discuss whether it comes from a place of White Guilt or actual accountability.
Next, the trio steers the chat into a new direction: how the voice of Gen Z is the real G behind a lot of the protests. Mobilizing social media to point others due north in morality, the crew weighs the pros and cons to the generation being staunch and steadfast in their quest for justice and how it all boils down to being accountable to make sure a movement is not just a moment.
