In this episode of BMC Talks, Host Alexander Alemany ’13 (MBA) interviews Greg Geisen, Naval Information Warfare Systems Command's Revitalization Program manager at the United States Navy. The podcast includes the history of NAVWAR, the role it plays within the Navy, key findings from the recently announced NAVWAR Economic Impact Study, in partnership with the University of San Diego's Knauss School of Business and the San Diego Military Advisory Council (SDMAC) and an overview of the multibillion dollar NAVWAR Redevelopment Project.

Greg Geisen is the Naval Information Warfare Systems Command's Revitalization Program Manager. He is leading the redevelopment of 70 acres of Federal property located on Naval Base Point Loma Old Town Campus to acquire modern NAVWAR facilities. Prior to his current duties, Geisen was the NAVWAR Director, Corporate Communications and Congressional Liaison from 2010 to 2018. With a budget of over $11B, NAVWAR employs more than 11,500 military and civilian professionals worldwide, half of which are collocated with the headquarters in San Diego, CA. Read his full bio.
