Alcoholism is a huge problem in this country, and Washington State is in serious trouble. The problem with alcohol is that it’s socially accepted and it’s legal to buy if you’re 21+, so it’s very easy to access. It’s so easy, alcohol is the most abused substance in the United States. Most people can have alcohol and never become addicted to it. Who knows why? But for others, little by little having a social drink becomes a need and they become dependent on it.
