Joe begins with the Eagles loss. He may not talks X’s and O’s but he knows when the defense is out on the field for 40 of the 60 minutes of the game, you don’t win. Mixed in is some weather nerd stuff, Philly Phade pick for Sunday and the Detroit/Dallas fiasco.

Joe can’t root for the Ravens in their playoff run once the Eagles demise is finalized. Ray Rice was honored by Baltimore as a “Legend of the Game”. Yes, people change, but Joe has a hard time giving him a pass when he put his hands on a woman and it was plastered all over the media as his career was nearing its end.

The XFL and USFL are merging and details are beginning to emerge. Eight teams, 4 from the USFL, 4 from the XFL in the United Football League. RIP to the Philadelphia Stars 2.0 who were not picked up for the new league.

A Canadian hockey jurisdiction banned handshake lines due to fights after games and the rise in suspension of players. Joe thinks that this is something the NCAA should do because they treat college basketball student athletes like little 6-year-olds that don’t know what sportsmanship is. These student athletes are adults.
