Just mention women and hair and you’ll get an almost visceral reaction. Why? Because I don’t know a woman alive who doesn’t have a hair story. And for Black women, it’s been especially complicated. Generationally, Black women have been taught that their natural texture is nasty, dirty, unruly and unattractive. But over the past few years, there’s been a migration towards embracing it.

That’s why I reached out to Award-winning Hair Designer and Business Woman Miki Wright who has dedicated her life to changing the face of the hair and beauty industry but also empowering other Hair Professionals to build thriving businesses.
