S2 Episode 29: The Importance of Adult Emotional Regulation
In this episode, Tangie and Alicia chat about adult emotions. Poor or lack of sleep, hunger and stress can all create a way for emotions to feel overwhelming for adults. And throw kids in the mix and it can feel unbearable. The beautiful thing is kids watch and listen to everything we do, even when we’re learning to manage our own adult emotions. We’re not afraid to tell our kids how we feel and model how we manage emotions in healthy ways. Now we know when we’re mindful of allowing space for our kids’ emotions, they internalize the space and have access to it when others need space to express their emotions.
Listen as we discuss:
• Tangie Shares A Revelation She Has About Her Child’s Ability To Regulate His Emotions
• Alicia Shares A Time When She Held And Let Be The Emotions Of Her 5 Year Old
