This is why we need vouchers for schools -- and more people taking their children out of the vaxx faxxtory. I have managed to avoid vaccines (and most medication) in the past 40 years, since I took a flu shot and had the worst flu I every had. Decided right then and there to stop taking vaccines.

If you can't fight evil for your kids (and this is coming from someone without children -- I'm fighting for my nieces and nephews and their children) who can you fight for? And we need to fight for religious learning (wisdom and morality) for our next generation (I felt so good that my great-nephew, who lives in Israel -- with a Latin father and grandfather) loves the story of the Boston Tea Party (and loves history) -- he just got bar mitzvaed -- and I told him I'd try to send him my copy of Rush Revere and the first patriots. Warms the cockles of my heart that my great-nephew is heading this way 😄

Thanks to the Jewish holidays recently, I did a lot of reading (7 extra days in a month when I can't do the computer, phone, etc. so I spend the days, especially now, since I broke my hip and can't walk to synagogue yet) eating, sleeping and doing a LOT of reading. I've re-read Michael Medveds 10 myths about the US (I wanted my friend Bobby to read it -- he still thinks it's appropriate to call Columbus day "Indigenous People’s Day" but he insisted he wouldn't borrow mine, he had to buy his own) and I finished Dennis Prager's "Still the best hope" -- I'm beginning (?!?) to believe that just like G-d wants Jews to survive He wants the US to survive. I have to believe that now -- we need to meet him halfway, though (and I think we're doing great -- though we still have farther to go).
