Every American was touched in some way by the tragic events of September 11, 2001. For the families and friends of the nearly three thousand people who lost their lives in the Twin Towers, the tragedy became personal. Maureen Crethan Santora lost her son, Christopher, and now she shares her message of love and tribute with a country scarred by loss. Maureen Crethan Santora became an educator in the New York City Public School System in 1967. The mother of five children, her only son Christopher entered the Fire Academy to become a firefighter in February of 2001. Christopher was one of the 345 firefighters who lost their lives at the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. Maureen is the author of THE DAY THE TOWERS FELL and MY SON CHRISTOPHER. All proceeds from these books are donated to the Christopher A. Santora Educational Scholarship Fund. - www.christophersantora.com
